Overview: ConvergeX Partners to Deliver
ConvergeX is one of the leading enabling companies bringing
together technology and partnerships from different businesses
(software technology, computer hardware, electronics, property
developers, builders, electricians, resellers/integrators/installers,
service providers etc) to drive the growth of the digital home
and intelligent living environment. Through this
convergence we deliver solutions that scale and allow all home
buyers or existing owners to benefit from our range of digital
home solutions. We believe that no one company alone can do
this and hence one of the key areas to our business is the
development of partnerships:
Industry Partnerships
There are many companies in the digital home industry creating
technologies and products that deliver a wide range of functionality.
Our belief is that this has to be of a performance and a market
price that encourages end customers to want and afford advanced
digital home functionality. We also give end users the option
to try digital home technology with the comfort of knowing
they can grow their system from managing a few lights and appliances
to a fully specified digital home experience covering entertainment,
automation and services.
We have partnerships with industry leaders such as Intel,
Cisco, Microsoft and Zensys who have built strong technologies,
products & initiatives to drive this industry. This enables
ConvergeX to deliver the digital home solutions that can drive
the growth in intelligent digital home living.
Technology Partnership Strategy
Our solutions platform and digital home applications creates
the 'solutions functionality' based on industry standards that
we believe encourages complementary partnerships with many
technology companies. We believe that UPnP (Universal Plug & Play)
is one of the key standards that will enable convergence and
integration of devices within digital homes. This standard
is being adopted by many companies & thus enables many
partner products to interface seamlessly into our platform.
For those products that don't have UPnP interfaces we presently
develop & license UPnP bridge software to interface to
these partner products to create ConvergeX solutions.
Whilst we support UPnP we also develop where necessary interfaces
to other partner products to create essential functionality
in our solutions. We have bridges developed for Zensys, EIB & X10
electrical home network protocols and for many home network
gateway devices.
This enables ConvergeX to develop multiple partnerships with
companies who develop products that embrace the above technologies.
We also have built our technology such that we create solutions
on many different hardware platform devices (media center servers,
general computer servers, embedded server systems and dedicated
server systems) and on many different client access devices
(Personal Digital Assistants - PDAs, Tablet devices, smart
phones, Wall mounted interfaces, TV/Screens etc)
Hence ConvergeX through technology partnerships creates leading
solutions for our end users, delivering a wide range of options
to ensure the best solution based on end customer needs.
Partnerships for Delivery
Whilst creating product solutions that meet all aspects of
customer requirements, ConvergeX also understands that providing
these products requires delivery partners that propose, install
and support these solutions to end user home owner or buyer
clients. We have developed programs and partnerships in many
areas that not only provide our product solutions but also
essential additional value added services. Our partnership
program includes:

These partners offer ConvergeX solution packages that are 'out
of the box' simple to install and use starter packages, solutions
that are more advanced but focused on multiple 'standard' home

who want more functionality in their home. Our partners cover
all areas of ConvergeX solution package delivery such as consultancy,
installation, support, training and services.
An important factor is for our partners to provide end-to-end
solution support and to offer upgrade options to advance the
existing ConvergeX digital home experience as users want to
live more intelligently by adopting new intelligent home functionality.
